For Michelle A. Myhre, CFP® and Managing Director & partner of Oak Advisors, helping clients fulfill their financial and retirement goals is very rewarding. She approaches each client with an emphasis on professionalism, expertise, while maintaining a down to earth, honest approach. Michelle recognizes that people have different complex financial needs that benefit from a comprehensive approach. In 2005, she co-founded Oak Advisors, LLC with business partner John Chiacchiero to address this need by providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management services.
With nearly 25 years of experience working with individual clients, she is prepared to provide a vast array of financial solutions. Michelle will analyze a client’s financial situation, recommend changes for improvement, and assist with achievement of financial goals through both short and long term strategies.
Michelle’s primary focus is to develop customized investment portfolios while taking a comprehensive approach to wealth management. She considers all aspects of planning including cash flow retirement, tax, estate and charitable planning. Michelle holds the Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®) and is a licensed Investment Advisor Representative. She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and the College for Financial Planning where she completed the CFP® curriculum as well as tax planning courses. She is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Michelle has served on the Robinson-Grant accounting firm Advisory Board, as well as the American Diabetes Foundation fundraising committee for Beaufort County. Since 2006 she has served on the Finance Committee for St. Gregory the Great in Bluffton and currently is a member of the Professional Advisor Society for the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry.
Michelle is a regular contributor on industry topics and has been featured on CNBC, The Senior Channel, USA Today, Hilton Head Monthly, and The Island Packet. She resides in Bluffton, SC with her family.
